This is a beautiful focus or fidget toy designed for your desk. A vortex lives in here, just spin the gorgeous glass dome to see it.
I designed this after visiting the science museum, and wanted a Rheoscopic vortex toy of my own. I couldn’t find one, so I made my own.
This could be called a fidget toy, or a focus toy or perhaps a physics toy, or a science toy. There are many fluid toys but this really draws you in.
I am also aware that people who have Aspergers or an autistic spectrum condition can find this a very relaxing toy to focus the mind and relieve stress.

Fantastic product and great packaging.
The purple is far more radiant in real life than in the pictures. Very impressed! It’s keeping my misses sane during an extended lockdown period and I’m pretty sure it’s never going to leave her desk. Her boss may not be overly impressed as it’s a fantastic distraction from work.

Pure beautiful. The quality is fantastic and it works very smoothly. It is everything I hoped it could be.
It did take a long time (2 months) but communication with Physics hack has been excellent and I don’t think it is an issue for such a lovely object but worth note. However I see no reason this device wont last a lifetime with care of use.
It really is like having some form of micro weather system.

Just received mine today! Haven’t stopped playing with it, just admiring all the little patterns and intricacies. I’ll admit that I had to wait a few months due to a high increase in demand because of a viral video, but it was worth the wait. When I thought it was taking longer than usual, I enquired and David got back to me extremely quickly. He explained the situation with the video and that he was overwhelmed with purchases but to his credit, he got it posted and delivered to me within about 2 weeks of that message! I admire the fact this is a high quality, hand-made product that is manufactured by David and not some mass produced toy. It is worth the money and is an elegant addition to any desk (especially if you are a nerd like me).
You would easily spend 20/30 quid on a tacky toy so spending a little extra to receive such a high quality, elegant product is worth it – highly recommend 🙂

I have to admit to now having 6 of these in different colours…they are so beautifully fascinating. I have different colours at different times of the year next to my desk and they each have a unique ‘character’ from swirling clouds though a storm on Jupiter, through a Mediterranean whirl pool…all stimulate the imagination whilst being relaxing!
