Description

I live in England, and if I were to ask most people here to point to North they would be wrong! Of course they’d point straight to the North Pole (where Santa lives)

What they wouldn’t do is point North’ish but also down in to the ground; which is the direction you would pick of you could see the earths magnetic field and follow the flux… like birds can!

The 3D compass is a very clever little device that follows the flux field in 3 dimensions. It shows what 2D compasses don’t. The inclination of the field.

This is fascinating as if you travel near the equator the poles become horizontal (see my Thailand images) and in the southern hemisphere it is the south Pole that points down.

… So while being incredibly simple, this little device could not only guide you home, it can even tell you what part of the earth you are on!

The compass is made from Neodymium magnets, encased in a high quality domed glass housing.

Feel free to contact me if you are interested but have questions. I’m always happy to help.

Thanks for looking!!!! 🙂
